Job Summary:
Sample Processing, Quality control of machines
Responsibilities:
1. For chemistry and hematology chemist
• Operating of machines
• Loading of the reagent
• QC preparation & Running QC
• Loading specimens & Review of results
• Archiving of daily QC results and maintenance files
• Stain & Slide preparation for hematology chemists
• Writing of results for hematology chemists
2. For histopathology chemist
• Preparation of histopathology stain
• Sample receiving
• Embedding of samples at the wax
• Processing for fixation and dehydration
• Cutting of specimen by microtome
• Staining & Mounting
• Storage of slides and paraffin blocks
• Writing of results
3. For microbiology chemist
• Sample analysis (urine stool and semen )
• Preparation of stains and cultures media
• Culturing, biochemical reactions, and sensitivity
• Qc for media, Antibiotics, and stained films
• Archiving of QC & Writing of results
• Serology
Qualification:
Bachelor's degree/ Technical Institute, plus 3 years professional experience (per specialization).
