Environmental Policy ISO14001
• ASSIH is dedicated to the practice of sound environmental stewardship and promotion of health, safety and well-being of our employees. These values originate at the company’s top management and are emphasized through all levels of responsibility within the organization. As such, the hospital agrees to:
o Protect the environment from pollution inside and outside its premises as well as proper waste management.
o Maintain energy efficiency.
o Increase the awareness of its employees and train them to implement and continually improve the management system regarding the
environment including, visitors and subcontractors as necessary.
o Comply with the relevant environmental legislation and regulations requirements and
other requirements related to environmental aspects.
o Establish and review objectives and targets related to the environment including employee's participation.
o Establish, maintain and continually improve the effectiveness of environmental systems which complies with the requirements of
the international standard ISO 14001.
o Communicate and review the policy periodically and make it available to its employees and interested parties and public as part of the
