Job Summary:
To provide full reception service to outpatients, visitors, and in-patients. To undertake tasks essential to the smooth and effective provision of quality care to patients and their families.
Responsibilities:
• Serves as the first point of contact for incoming patients and visitors
• To be able to deal with telephone calls whilst at the same time managing face to face inquiries, booking appointments, directing patients to the right personnel/locations.
• Responsible for keeping the reception area clean and organized.
• Facilitates patient flow by notifying the provider of patients' arrival, being aware of delays, and communicating with patients and clinical staff
• Responds to patients', prospective patients, and visitor inquiries in a courteous manner.
• Receives and distributes hospital management and physician correspondence.
• Provides out-patients with the Q system ticket number according to required specialty
• Receives various Out-Patient clinics/procedures bookings and schedules them into requested/ available physicians’ slots on HIS.
• Books for out-patient follow-up appointments.
• Stamps claim forms, medical prescriptions, and any required investigations insurance documents.
• Deal with problems and complaints received and immediately act to restore patients’ satisfaction.
Qualification:
Bachelor's degree plus 1-year experience in a similar position.
