Importance of JCI accreditation?
The accreditation of the Joint Commission International is one of the most important criteria for evaluating the performance of healthcare facilities, including hospitals, medical laboratories and other places of health service provision.
Since 2011, JCI has been ISQua accredited, which means that the procedures and standards used by JCI are equivalent to the highest international standards in evaluating healthcare facilities.
As-Salam International Hospital Accreditation History
As-Salam International Hospital not only obtained general accreditation from the Joint Commission International but also obtained two certificates of clinical excellence in the treatment of obstructive pulmonary disease from the Joint Commission International in 2019. Thus, it became the first hospital in the Middle East and the third in the world to obtain this certificate from (JCI).
